Schulman Bhattacharya, LLC is proud to announce the hiring of two new associate attorneys who will be resident in the Firm’s Washington-area headquarters office. Jonathan A. Barnes comes to the Firm from Carr Maloney, where he was a successful commercial litigator handling construction, employment, professional liability, insurance coverage, and products liability cases. Prior to that, Mr. Barnes worked for two other leading law firms in the Washington-area, was a prosecutor in Montgomery County, Maryland, and law clerk to Hon. Richard E. Jordan in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland. Jessica J. Bustamante recently passed the Maryland Bar, graduated law school with distinction, and comes to the Firm after serving as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable William S. Colwell and the Honorable Stephen R. Henley, Administrative Law Judges in the U.S. Department of Labor. Ms. Bustamante’s prior experience also includes working for an environmental engineering, construction, and general contracting firm on regulatory compliance issues.
