Schulman Bhattacharya, LLC successfully settled multiple state and federal lawsuits for its clients, a leading international company focused on development and commercialization of scientific discoveries in the biotech field, and the company’s founder. The lawsuits concerned misappropriation of proprietary and confidential information and intentional interference with contractual relations by certain former employees and independent contractors. The confidential settlements resulted in Schulman Bhattacharya’s clients securing their proprietary information, allowing the company to continue its mission of helping entrepreneurs commercialize novel, unique, and breakthrough biotech and pharmaceutical inventions. The clients engaged Schulman Bhattacharya to assume lead counsel responsibilities in the three lawsuits, replacing former counsel from two other law firms. Under sustained pressure from Schulman Bhattacharya, all cases were successfully settled within 45 days of the firm’s engagement.
The legal team was led by Firm partners Jeremy W. Schulman and Koushik Bhattacharya, and associate Jonathan Barnes.
